Calla Lilies are uplifting and colourful, Susan Lordi wanted to express their vibrancy with a gradation of colour that builds, starting with lime green, blending with coral and wine. Calla Lilies are known for a long season of bloom, so the qualities of this flower represent supportive, constant friendship. The kind of friend who stays by your side, lifting our sprits through the best and the worst. with Artist Susan Lordi wanted the sentiment to be light-hearted... It's a little endearment: a way to say thank you, or let someone know she's special. Pieces are cast in resin from her original carvings, and then individually painted by hand with lead-free paint.
