From humble beginnings selling radios out of a Vauxhall Viva, the brand quickly grew, moving into the production of record players and becoming one of the last UK manufacturers of this iconic technology. With over 80 workers assembling turntables in a repurposed cinema in North Oxfordshire, Steepletone built a reputation for excellence and innovation. In the late 1980s, production moved to the Far East, where inspiration led to the creation and sourcing of unique electronic items. Today, Steepletone remains a family-run business, now in its third generation, celebrating over 50 years of delivering exceptional products.
